Orisis lost in grass after record height PARS members Oliver Neil Smith, Kes Daood, and Daniel Goldsmith went out for a small rocket trip. They had a series of successful launches including Osiris on a D motor, Blue Samurai on an E and Lightening Strike on a D. But our last launch was not as good as we expected it to be. As Kes came back from collecting Lightening Strike, he jokily decided to launch Osiris again on an E motor, his first ever attempt and second ever launch. This was a spectacular launch and was a height record at approximately 2000 feet. The 3 members chased after the rocket, but only Kes could actually see it, but then, even he, lost sight of it. After over an hour and a half of solid searching - pains, scrapes and stings - we were unsucessful in finding the rocket. Because of this loss there will be new PARS laws including the fact that Bleepers must be used at dusk (the time Osiris was lost) but Osiris II will be coming to a sky near you!
